Lyncolec Previews RFID Tagging

Counterfeiting can be big business in the aerospace and defense markets, compromising safety and making it easier for terrorists and rogue states to acquire advanced technology. Based in Dorset, UK, Lyncolec has developed a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag for circuit boards, allowing for the individual identification of every single board in new systems.

The knowledge that genuine boards have tamper-proof tags provides a powerful deterrent to “grey-market” counterfeits. Lyncolec’s technology sits on display at the company’s exhibit in the West of England
