Midcoast Aviation (Booth No. 1147) has been granted an STC approval to install CMC Electronics PilotView electronic flight bag systems (EFB) on the Bombardier Challenger series business jet, the first Class 2 EFB system approval for Challenger system aircraft.
Based in St. Louis, Missouri, Midcoast has installed the PilotView using a side-mounting bracket system to the left and right of the pilot and copilot, respectively. The company has installed the EFB system in Bombardier Global Express and CL-604 business jets for the past two years. PilotView improves productivity by enabling preflight planning and efficient access to up-to-date aircraft documentation, checklists and flight planning information.
