Privately owned Houston Executive Airport in Texas has experienced enough demand to justify building a new 23,400-sq-ft corporate hangar. The airport, built by developer Ron Henriksen, features a 6,610- foot runway that has already been lengthened once.
Plans call for further extending the runway to 7,604 feet. The new hangar will fit up to 20 aircraft.
“Our robust business is an indicator that general aviation is thriving here in Houston,” said Henriksen.
