Preliminary Report: More fatalities reported in Mexicoi City Learjet accident

Bombardier Learjet 45, Mexico City, Mexico, Nov. 4, 2008–The NTSB has reported that the Mexico City crash of the Secretairia du Gobernacion of Mexico Learjet that killed the Interior Minister and seven others on board (see AIN, December, page 47) also killed 14 people on the ground (up from earlier reports of five) and injured 40.

The aircraft was on final approach to Mexico City Airport.
