Stevens Unveils Select Suite Avionics Retrofits

Stevens Aviation, buoyed by market reception of its Lear4Ever avionics and airframe modification package for the Learjet 35, today announced expansion of its Select Suite of aircraft targeted for the same level of avionics modernization to include some other popular models. The Stevens makeover programs now include the King Air, with a choice of Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 or Universal Avionics 890R equipment; the Cessna Citation 550 with a Universal glass cockpit; and the Learjet 60 with Universal EFIS and synthetic vision, as well as the Kollsman GAViS enhanced vision system.

The King Air “Select” mod program, incorporating five separate STCs, has upgraded a total of 22 aircraft with 14 Pro Line 21 systems, six Universal 890R installations and two Garmin G1000 suites. Another element of the Stevens Select Suite offerings is an in-flight entertainment, cabin environment and passenger communication package for Challenger 600 corporate jets.

The Challenger Prime upgrade can include in-cabin Wi-Fi broadband Internet connection, widescreen entertainment systems and satellite TV, electronic window shades and appointments that Stevens says “rival the best office environments in the world.
