Universal Weather & Aviation (Booth No. 219) has teamed with aviation software application developer ForeFlight to offer the first implementation of UVTripPlanner specifically for the Apple iPhone and iPod touch.
Universal’s worldwide flight planning airport database– UVTripPlanner–enabled through ForeFlight Mobile version 2.0 software, is now accessible through either Apple hand-held device. Said Randy Stephens, publisher of UVTripPlanner, “We’re excited that ForeFlight Mobile v2.0 will help introduce [iPhone] operators to UVTripPlanner” as well as other Universal services and products to which they may not have been previously exposed.
The ForeFlight Mobile v2.0 application can be installed directly on any iPhone running v2.0 of the iPhone operating system. Each screen has been designed around a pilot’s flight planning workflow, using the worldwide UVTripPlanner data and airport diagrams.
