Wyvern is taking charter aircraft safety compliance to the next level with the introduction of the Pilot & Aircraft Safety Survey (Pass) program, which provides real-time due diligence on a charter operator, aircraft and pilots assigned to a given trip. The pilot check verifies that the assigned pilots are properly type-rated, have met flight-time requirements and have current medical and training records, while the aircraft check ensures that the aircraft's airworthiness papers are in order.
Pass reports are now available for flight departments, brokers, fractional providers and aircraft owners who subscribe to The Wyvern Report. Each report can be customized to meet the desired safety standards required for individual trips.
Approved Pass reports have green-colored checks next to each of the four categories–operator, aircraft, PIC and SIC. Failed Pass reports have red-colored warning flags, complete with explanations, next to the problem categories.
Customers can then print the Pass report for their records and can even e-mail it to a client for their review. All Pass reports are also stored online for easy access and reference.
