Shelly Hedrick had been in aviation–fractionals, charters, FBOs–for 12 years when it occurred to her recently that there was a niche in the business aviation market that she could fill.
Last month she announced the launch of JetSeat, a company providing customized overhead layouts of business and private jet interiors, for existing or proposed cabins.
The JetSeat overheads are not only to scale, but the various fabrics, designs, shapes and colors are replicated accurately, said Hedrick.
Universal Weather and Aviation is demonstrating its new electronic flight bag CD-ROM and online editions of its UVTripPlanner airport information database at Booth No. 1420. The online and EFB versions offer more information than the company’s traditional printed UVTripPlanner, which lists only airports with runways longer than 3,900 feet due to space limitations.
When Aircraft Technical Publishers released its Navigator V regulatory data software in 2004, there was one key element missing: the ability to view manufacturer maintenance data from the software interface. Now users of ATP’s regulatory and maintenance data can view both types of information directly in the latest version (release 6) of Navigator V, which runs on Windows PCs.
