The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has approved the Shanghai Hawker Pacific Business Aviation Service Centre (SHPBASC) to add the Dassault Falcon 7X to its Part 145 Maintenance Organization approval. This is the first approval by the CAAC for the 7X in China, according to SHPBASC.

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) recently approved the first two Raisbeck Engineering Performance Systems for the Beechcraft King Air. They are the dual aft body strakes and the Crown wing lockers. First applications in China are on the King Air 350. Other applications are working their way through the CAAC process.

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) recently approved two Raisbeck Engineering King Air performance systems–the dual aft body strakes and the Crown wing lockers. First applications of the modifications in China are on a King Air 350, the Seattle-based company said. Other applications for Raisbeck mods–including current and upcoming performance systems on the Learjet 31/35/36/60 and all other King Air models–are currently working their way through the CAAC, according to Raisbeck.

Stung by development delays and now intent on shifting its emphasis from long-haul to regional and domestic services, China Eastern Airlines on October 17 announced a decision to cancel orders for 24 Boeing 787s in favor of a new order for 45 Boeing 737NGs.

Hawker Pacific Shanghai (Booth No. N2501) has become the first dedicated business aviation center to receive Part 145 maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) approval from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). Located at Shanghai’s Hongqiao International Airport, the 4,000-sq-m facility can accommodate aircraft up to Boeing 737 or Airbus A320 size.

Duncan Aviation’s Lincoln facility has been granted additional Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) repair station certificate authorizations. They were added to the MRO’s current certificate after a CAAC audit of the Duncan Aviation facility in Lincoln. Newly authorized airframes include the Falcon 900DX, 2000 and 7X.
