Pats Aircraft Systems has received quality certification approval to ISO9001:2008 and AS9100 standards.

AS9100C includes all the elements of ISO9000, as well as additional requirements specific to the aerospace industry, and according to the Georgetown, Del.-based cabin completion and MRO center, “represents a significant advancement in the requirements for compliance.”

Chicago-based Dynomax has earned AS9100 Revision C quality certification. The company provides value-added engineering and high-precision machining, injection molding and tooling. “The primary differences between Rev B and Rev C is the inclusion of risk, project and configuration management, key process metrics, and expanded defense scope,” said Mike Martini, the company’s quality systems director.

Summit Aviation has received AS9100 aerospace quality standard system certification at its Somerset, Ky., facility.

Greenwich AeroGroup's Summit Aviation (Booth No. 2726) has received AS9100 aerospace quality standard system certification at its Somerset, Ky. facility. AS9100 addresses the diversity and complexity of the industry's supply chain and takes into account the complete life cycle of aerospace products. Summit's Middletown, Del. facility has held AS9100 certification since 2007 and recently has undergone a recertification audit.

TSS Aviation, based in Cincinnati, and Standard Aero’s Maryville, Tenn. MRO facility have earned AS9100 and AS9110 certification, respectively. These certifications are the first received for the newly combined companies of Standard Aero, Landmark, TSS and Associated Air Center under the DAE Engineering Companies banner.

In its most recent AS9100 surveillance audit, Sabreliner’s southeast Missouri operations received a score of 98.9 percent, its highest rating for quality since receiving its certification in 2004. The facility received 870 points out of a possible 880.
