Schiphol Airport’s new terminal, which will serve the needs of the more than 4,500 business jets and GA aircraft that frequent the airport annually, opened last month. Located in Schiphol-East, the new terminal replaces Building 106, which had accommodated the airport’s GA activities for the past several decades.

Signature Flight Support and AviaPartner will jointly develop an FBO at Nice Airport in France. The new FBO will be branded Signature Flight Support/AviaPartner. “Nice Airport is the fourth busiest airport in Europe for general aviation,” said Signature president Michael Scheeringa. The two companies will develop the new FBO to meet Signature operating and service standards.
Flying Service NV has signed an agreement with Aviapartner Belgium to perform all third-party ground handling at Antwerp Airport until the end of September 2010, when Aviapartner’s handling license expires. Under the agreement, Flying Service–a FlyingGroup company–expects to handle at least 800 aircraft a year at Antwerp.
