Global aviation support and aftermarket services provider BBA Aviation signed a seven-year lease extension that also expands its downtown Orlando, Fla. corporate headquarters offices to accommodate expected growth. Signature Flight Support and Aircraft Service Group International (ASIG), along with parent company BBA Aviation, collectively have more than 1,000 employees in Florida, with almost 200 based in downtown Orlando.

Dallas Airmotive’s Singapore Regional Turbine Center received an operating certificate from the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore in mid-February.

Dallas Airmotive’s Singapore regional turbine center has been awarded an operating certificate from the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS). The facility is authorized by Honeywell for TFE731 major periodic inspection (MPI) services and line maintenance on TFE731, CFE738 and HTF7000 engines as well as line maintenance on RE100, RE220 and 36-series APUs.

The 5,000-sq-ft facility is staffed by six employees, including five certified mechanics and engineering-level personnel.

Dallas Airmotive, a division of Texas-based BBA Aviation, has announced that its Singapore Regional Turbine Center has received its operating certificate from the country’s Civil Aviation Authority.

Dallas Airmotive, a BBA Aviation company that officially opened its Singapore Regional Turbine Center (RTC) at Seletar Airport on Monday, expects business to come from some 650 jets in Asia including a mix of pre-owned jets and an ever-increasing new general aviation planes being purchased by China and emerging economies. There are many opportunities for growth in Asia, said BBA Aviation president Hugh McElroy, and Singapore’s business climate makes it the right place from which to achieve this growth.

Located at Singapore’s Seletar Aerospace Park, it will offer authorized Honeywell major periodic inspection service on TFE731 engines and line maintenance on Honeywell TFE731, CFE738, HTF7000 engines and on 36 Series RE100 and RE220 APUs.

Ontic, a provider of OEM legacy products and systems, will now offer MRO support for the King Air through its Houston facility. The move is part of parent company BBA Aviation’s intent to further expand Ontic’s presence in the business aircraft market.

FirstSupportAOG.com provides customers with a look at how FirstSupport operates and provides several options for contacting the center. A newsroom provides media information, including press releases on all of Dallas Airmotive’s activities, a map of service locations, contact information and photo downloads.

Dallas Airmotive has received authorization from Honeywell Aerospace to supply turbofan engine and APU support services for the Asia-Pacific region. Under the terms of the agreement, the company will provide major periodic inspection (MPI) services on TFE731 engines and line authorizations on CFE738 and HTF7000 engines and APUs (36 series, RE100, RE220).
