Avionics display provider Barco has entered into a partnership with Zhukovsky-based aerospace company Monitor Soft to jointly provide cockpit mission systems on the Russian market. “The Russian market has always been an important focus for us and over the past ten years we have achieved a dominant market share on civil aircraft,” said a Barco spokesman.
Speech-recognition technology has come a long way in the last few years, especially as cellphone makers seek to add voice search capability to their latest Web-enabled smartphones.
