Private membership firm Wheels Up inked a deal with New York City-based lifestyle management firm Four Hundred to offer Wheels Up members a full-service luxury concierge program–8760 Concierge by Four Hundred–which offers access to sought-after restaurants, sports events, concerts and clubs, among others, around the world.
Universal Weather and Aviation (Stand 7091) has acquired in-flight catering and concierge group Air Chef Holdings for an undisclosed price. Air Chef, which provides catering for charter operators, corporate flight departments, fractional operators, flight attendants and FBOs, now is a wholly owned subsidiary of Universal.
Jeppesen (Booth No. 729) has selected WhiteConcierge as its partner for a new service called Jeppesen Concierge. This program will enable aircrew and passengers to access all WhiteConcierge services, which the company groups into four main categories: personal emergency services; travel and reservations service; proactive lifestyle management; and virtual private assistant.

The service offers wealthy travelers access to personal concierge staff who can assist them with arrangements such as villa rentals, limousines, on-site medical visits, golf and spa appointments and dining reservations.

When Atlantic Aviation v-p Sue Sommers checked into her hotel in Cancun, Mexico, on vacation last year, she was greeted with a cold drink by a friendly, knowledgeable local concierge before she could even make it to the check-in counter. That planted the seed, and the idea has blossomed into Atlantic’s concierge program. Atlantic plans to have concierges greeting passengers and pilots at the four largest of its eight FBOs.
Jimsair, which has been a fixture at San Diego International Airport (SAN) for more than half a century, is currently undergoing a $5 million facility refurbishment. The three-story construction project, accentuated by its sweeping wing-like roofline, is expected to be completed by year-end–in time for January’s Super Bowl. More than 300 visiting corporate jets are expected to crowd Jimsair’s ramp for the big game.
ExecuJet Europe, a business aircraft sales and services company, has announced the launch of Personal Concierge, which it said is designed to provide individual clients “discreet and full aviation management and operations solutions” via a single phone call. An eight-member team will promote Personal Concierge, and dedicated dispatchers will provide 24/7/365-day support.
Customers of Jeppesen World Fuel Services can now go online to view fuel prices and place orders at more than 1,500 locations worldwide. A new Web site provides price quotes, including taxes and fees, as well as pricing based on different uplift volumes. Users can store frequented destinations, search past fuel quotes and obtain the name of the into-plane provider.
