Steecon Enterprises (Booth No. 1061) recently announced availability of its Star Trak “pocket” doors for the Dassault Falcon Jet 900/900EX following a ruling by the FAA to allow owners of these aircraft to install doors in partitions between passenger compartments.
Steecon Enterprises has manufactured more than 500 pocket doors for corporate and business aircraft since it started operations in 1988. The company offers several different pocket doors built to fit specific size aircraft, and each door is built completely assembled and ready to install to aircraft bulkheads, said a spokesman.
Steecon Enterprises has developed a bulkhead swinging door. The door is hinged at the top and bottom, and the door frame houses the motorized activation assembly. The door is activated by the push of a button (on the floor or door frame), remains open long enough for the user to pass through and then closes automatically. A resistance disengage switch ensures that the user cannot be trapped when the door closes.
