The circular parking ring system developed by Alto General Aviation Services of Eltville, Germany, has received patent rights from the German patent and trademark office. Alto introduced the rotating circular parking ring system in 2006 with an installation in a hangar at Frankfurt’s Egelsbach Airport. This ring had space for up to four light jets such as Hawker Beechcraft’s Premier.

NetJets Europe has agreed to acquire Egelsbach Airport near Frankfurt, Germany’s financial center, for an undisclosed sum. The deal–subject to final approval by the local municipal authorities who own the airport company Hessische Flugplatz GmbH Egelsbach (HFG)–is expected to be completed this month.

NetJets Europe has agreed to acquire Egelsbach Airport near Frankfurt, Germany’s financial center, for an undisclosed sum. Located 16 miles from downtown Frankfurt, Egelsbach will continue to be available to other business aircraft operators.

The Lufthansa Private Jet service, which allows passengers to book NetJets Europe aircraft for connections with the German airline’s scheduled services, now includes Frankfurt Airport. When the program began at the end of March it served only Munich.
