CAE To Offer Falcon 2000LXS and 2000S Mx Training

CAE will offer maintenance training, including EASy II, on the Dassault Falcon 2000LXS and 2000S. The training is supplemental to initial Dassault Falcon 2000 EX EASy certification and the curriculum includes additional model-specific content.

Maintenance training on these aircraft complements CAE’s EASy II pilot training offering, which was recently qualified to Level D, making CAE the first training provider to deliver training with the latest EASy II avionics for the 7X and 2000 EASy series.

Embraer Selects Honeywell for New E-Jets

Embraer has selected the Honeywell Primus Epic 2 integrated avionics system for the second-generation E-Jet, slated to enter service in 2018. The decision is another important milestone in the program, which is expected to be launched later this year. The Primus Epic 2 integrated avionics system includes four 13- by 10-inch large landscape displays with advanced graphics capabilities.
Dassault Boosts Falcon Presence In India

A good part of Dassault Aviation’s profile at this week’s Aero India show is based on its Rafale fighter, which was last year selected for the country’s new Medium Multi-Role Combat Aircraft requirement. But the French manufacturer also has big business aviation ambitions in India, as is evidenced by the pair of Falcon 7X trijets it has on display this week in Bangalore, along with a Falcon 900LX and a 2000S.
Dassault Falcon Opens Customer Service HQ in Beijing

Beijing has been chosen as the location site for the Dassault Falcon Customer Service regional headquarters. Scheduled to open early next year, the office will be staffed by local specialists experienced in processing parts orders, warranty claims and FalconCare claims, and include at least two type-rated Falcon pilots to provide jump-seat support to new and existing Falcon customers. Separately, the airframer launched Dassault Falcon Aircraft Services China, a dedicated program with Shanghai Hawker Pacific at Hongqiao International Airport in Shanghai.
Dassault Aircraft Services-Wilmington Granted Chinese Maintenance Approval

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has approved Dassault Aircraft Services Wilmington to perform airframe and component maintenance on Chinese-registered Falcons. The approval covers the Falcon 7X and includes C-level checks for the Falcon 2000EX/DX/LX EASy and Falcon 900EX/DX/LX EASy. The facility is also approved for inspection, repair, overhaul and modifications of components for air conditioning, communications, fuselage, nacelles/pylons, stabilizers and wings. Work may also be performed at locations in Little Rock, Reno, St.

Dassault Falcon announced yesterday at the CIBAS show in China that it will open a regional customer service headquarters in Beijing early next year. The new facility will employ two type-rated Falcon pilots and “local specialists experienced in receiving and processing spare parts orders, warranty claims and FalconCare claims.” Working with Shanghai Hawker Pacific at Hongqiao International Airport in Shanghai, Dassault Falcon also launched Dassault Falcon Aircraft Services China to serve local operators of the Falcon 900EX, 2000EX EASy and 7X.
Dassault Rolls Out Milestone Falcon 7X

The 200th Falcon 7X rolled off the production line at Dassault’s Bordeaux-Merignac production facility in southern France on July 9, and the aircraft has since entered the final cabin completion process. “We are especially proud of this milestone,” said Dassault Falcon president and CEO John Rosanvallon. “The 7X is clearly the best seller in the current Falcon family and remains one of the most sought-after jets in itscategory.”
