Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services (Stand 43) has secured Part 145 approval to perform maintenance services for Bombardier Challenger 604/605s registered in Qatar. An undisclosed customer has signed a maintenance agreement with LBAS and plans to use the company’s services when flying in Europe. In addition to aircraft maintenance services, LBAS provides interior modifications as well as service for engines and avionics.

The operation recently completed the required audit by the German Airworthiness Authority, acting on behalf of the EASA, and the facility is now open.
Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services (LBAS) has selected OHS Aviation Services as a tier-one supplier for all cabin interior and aircraft exterior aesthetic-related work. OHS is an EASA-approved Part 145 and Part 21J repair station established in 2000 at Berlin-Schoenefeld airport. The company specializes in interior refurbishments, including carpet, divan and seat upholstering, and panel recovering.

Bombardier customers and operators who use Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services (LBAS) will find it easier to communicate with LBAS in the future. LBAS has introduced a new Internet portal that offers easier and more convenient access to maintenance information as well as options to conduct routine business transactions online.
