The company’s air charter division operates 21 managed aircraft across the country, and next month will reposition a nine-passenger WiFi-equipped Cessna Citation XLS to the San Francisco-area airport.

American Eagle’s first shipment of new airplanes in some five years began last month as the Dallas-based regional airline took delivery of two new CRJ700s from Bombardier. Scheduled to accept two airplanes each month for about the next year, Eagle as of last month already flew 25 of the Canadian jets, all of which offered a first-class section as of July 2.

Madrid-based Executive Airlines (Booth No. 542), the second largest business aviation operator in Spain, took delivery of its ninth Gulfstream G200 on April 6. The company claims to be the largest Gulfstream operator in Europe. It counts four G550s, nine G200s and three G150s among its total fleet of 25 business jets.
In the not-too-distant past, Spain’s business aviation sector consisted of one major operator, Gestair, and a sprinkling of smaller companies each operating barely a handful of aircraft. In the last two years the picture has changed dramatically, with the established companies maintaining their prominence and new companies making an impact on the scene despite the financial crisis.
