Reed Exhibitions’ Aircraft Interiors Expo team is launching a new event for the Americas. The first show–Aircraft Interiors Expo Americas–is scheduled for September 9 through 11 in the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, Calif. Concurrent with the event is the new Cabin Innovation Congress, a forum for discussion of cabin concepts and issues that affect the industry.
Aviation Industry Expo 2007 hosted attendees from across the nation and around the globe, including a 30-person contingent from Russia. Nearly 500 companies exhibited this year, including more than 120 first-timers. NATA’s new-format event focusing on the FBO industry was a resounding success, and PAMA’s Maintenance Olympics was once again a big draw.
With this year’s Heli-Expo scheduled for February 6 to 8 in Anaheim, Calif., more than four weeks earlier than last year, news from exhibitors was surprisingly thin at the end of last year. AIN
Heli-Expo 2006 set a record with 14,051 first-day registered attendees. In all, 521 exibiting companies sprawled across more than 221,000 sq ft of floor space here at the Dallas Convention Center, with 48 helicopters under roof. Next year’s show will be held in Orlando, Fla., from March 1 to 3.
