Odyssey Aviation Bahamas has opened two handling locations on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas. The new locations are at Governors Harbour Airport (MYEM) and Rock Sound Airport (MYER). Sylvie McCartney is station manager for both locations.
Exuma International Airport will see its first FBO when Odyssey Aviation Bahamas opens a new facility at the airport in Georgetown, Exuma, next March.
Odyssey Aviation Bahamas (Booth No. 6244) will build an FBO at Exuma International Airport (MYEF) in Georgetown, Exuma. The 2,400-sq-ft FBO–the airport’s first–will offer customs and immigration services, high-speed Wi-Fi, a WSI weather station, a flight-planning room, lounges for pilots and passengers, satellite TV and other amenities.
Already a well-known brand in the Caribbean for the past 12 years, Odyssey Aviation (Booth No. 268) plans to open three new FBOs in the Bahamas on November 1. An island-friendly atmosphere will soon be seen at Treasure Cay, Abaco; Governor’s Harbour, Eleuthera; and Exuma International, Great Exuma. The FBOs will offer Texaco-branded fuel through Chevron Global Aviation.
Israel Aircraft Industries 1124 Westwind, Georgetown, Bahamas, May 24, 2006– The Westwind ran off the side of the runway when making an emergency landing at Exuma International Airport. The EMS flight was on an IFR flight plan from San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Norfolk, Va., in night visual conditions.
