At NBAA’s 25th annual Schedulers and Dispatcher Conference taking place this week in New Orleans, global fuel provider Avfuel will have a record number of its dealers present as exhibitors.
The University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI) has been awarded a nearly $50 million six-year research grant from the Air Force to develop advanced fuels and combustion technologies. The award follows last year’s $10 million contract with the Air Force Research Laboratory to design and operate the new Assured Aerospace Fuels Research Laboratory at nearby Wright-Patterson AFB.
Phoenix Fuel, LLC (Booth No. 1626) said it is on course to sell 500 million gallons of jet-A this year, and has added offices in Bogota, Colombia; Dubai, UAE; and Johannesburg, South Africa, to its world network headquartered in Sheridan, Wyo.
The company also selected SolArc RightAngle software to help streamline management of its fuel supply and marketing operations.
