Hamilton Sundstrand to supply spares to Fokker Services

Hamilton Sundstrand has signed an agreement with Fokker Services to provide spare parts in support of Fokker repair work at its Amsterdam facility. The purchase contract, which runs through 2016, is valued at $33.2 million. It covers “integrated drive generators and other equipment” for aircraft built mainly by Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier and Fokker.

The U.S. company has also announced three maintenance and support deals with airlines here at the show:

Preliminary Report: Caravan engine fire under investigation

Cessna 208B Caravan, Quepos, Costa Rica, March 22, 2007 – Costa Rican-registered Cessna Caravan TI-BBG landed at the Aeropuerto La Managua, near Quepos, Costa Rica, and when the crew shut down the engine there was an engine fire. The flight, from Cocos to Quepos, was a Sansa domestic passenger commuter flight. The two pilots and seven passengers were not injured.
