France-based Hélicoptères Guimbal has reached its first production target of one helicopter per month, CEO and founder Bruno Guimbal told AIN, and the 10th Cabri two-seater was delivered last month. On December 29 last year, France-based manufacturer Hélicoptères Guimbal completed a €1.8 million ($2.6 million) injection of capital. ACE Management is a new shareholder, as is iXcore. The capital injection is expected to help the company ramp up production of the Cabri two-seater.

French-based Hélicoptères Guimbal received EASA certification for its Cabri G2 light piston single. The two-seater will compete with the ubiquitous Robinson R22. Because Eurocopter has supported designer Bruno Guimbal, the Cabri shares some technical similarities with Eurocopter rotorcraft such as the shrouded tail rotor.
