Late last month, Cleveland-based Flight Options confirmed speculation that it was starting a jet-card program when it unveiled JetPass. The 25-hour jet cards are available for either the Beechjet 400A, Hawker 800XP or “large-cabin aircraft” (the Challenger 601, Embraer Legacy or Gulfstream IV), with respective up-front costs of $99,900, $149,900 and $249,900 (federal excise tax not included).

With more than 25 years of experience in heavy maintenance, sheet metal, avionics, engines, APUs, interiors and modifications, the company has a longstanding reputation for working on older aircraft.
BBA Aviation, parent company of the Signature Flight Support FBO chain, has agreed to purchase Executive Beechcraft, which includes four FBOs, a charter/management operation, maintenance and avionics facilities and an aircraft sales division. Executive Beechcraft is a Hawker Beechcraft sales and service center for the Bonanza A36 through the Hawker 400XP and a service center for Cirrus Design and Mooney Aircraft.
Hawker Beechcraft hopes to continue to stave off competition from VLJs with two new upgrades to the stalwart King Air turboprop line, announced this week at EBACE. The upgraded King Air B200, which the company is calling the B200GT, gets more powerful PT6A-52 engines, while the C90GTi will be equipped with Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics as standard.
FlightSafety International (FSI) plans to build a Hawker 750 simulator for installation at its UK training center at Farnborough Airport an hour southwest of London. In addition, FSI (Booth No. 220) will offer Gulfstream G450 and G550 training programs there using an interchangeable level-D simulator planned for operation starting in late 2009.

Perkins Aircraft Windows signed an agreement with CRS Jet Spares for that company to stock and distribute Perkins-manufactured windows and windshields. Airframes to be supported under the terms of the contract include the Beechjet, Challenger, Citation, Falcon, Gulfstream, Hawker and Learjet.
