Rockwell Collins last month wrapped up flight testing of a WAAS/LPV (wide-area augmentation system/localizer performance with vertical guidance) upgrade for the Pro Line 21 avionics system in the Hawker 800XP. The STC issued last month will allow Hawker 800XP operators equipped with Pro Line 21 to take advantage of the more than 1,500 WAAS/LPV approaches created so far.

Hawker Beechcraft has added Germany-based Aerodata at Braunschweig (BWE) Airport to its network of authorized service centers. In addition to aircraft maintenance, Aerodata can provide turnkey special-mission aircraft worldwide. Aerodata is also a source of flight inspection systems. Hawker Beechcraft has also added Jeddah, Saudi Arabia-based Arabian Aircraft Service (Arabasco) to the Hawker 800 authorized service center network.

Duncan Aviation has certified a Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 upgrade in the Dassault Falcon 50EX. The upgrade interfaces with the airplane’s existing Pro Line 4 avionics package, using original sensors, radios and autopilots.
