Cadorath Aerospace has entered into a partnership with Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Jaguar Aviation to provide repair, modification and overhaul services of aeronautical products to Latin American customers. Cadorath will work on Rolls-Royce 250 and T56, Pratt & Whitney Canada and Honeywell T53 engines and Bell and Sikorsky helicopters.

pan-European Neuron UCAV

The pan-European Neuron UCAV is making its public debut, outside Hall 2 here as part of the Dassault Aviation static display. But you could easily miss it. For security reasons, the stealthy, arrow-shaped drone has been enclosed in a dome, with the only public view being through a clear plastic curtain. Dassault is lead contractor, and France the lead country, for the six-nation technology demonstration project. The other participants are Greece (HAI); Italy (Alenia); Spain (EADS-CASA); Sweden (Saab); and Switzerland (Ruag).

Airborne Engines (Booth No. N5804), a subsidiary of M International, used Heli-Expo ’13 as the venue for signing a memorandum of understanding with Rolls-Royce to become an authorized maintenance center (AMC) for the M250 engine line. M International’s Airborne Engines, a supplier of aftermarket technical, MRO and supply-chain management services, will perform the M250 maintenance at its 32,000-sq-ft facility in Delta, British Columbia (Canada).

Air Works India Engineering (Stand 1869) has been appointed a Dassault Falcon authorized service center (ASC), offering Falcon operators a maintenance capability in India eventually leading to heavy maintenance.

Dassault Falcon recently completed testing of its new Falcon E-Maintenance program, which will allow Dassault’s Falcon technical center and service centers (both factory and authorized) to access an airplane’s central maintenance computer and remotely troubleshoot and diagnose issues through a maintenance laptop provided by Dassault.

GE Aviation and Singapore Technologies Aerospace (ST Aerospace) have signed an agreement to cooperate in engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), engine material services, aircraft support and engine and accessories repairs. The two companies also signed a 10-year repair license agreement, in which GE will give ST Aerospace access to OEM and technical data and assistance.

Following the successful Mirage 2000 update programs in Greece and the United Arab Emirates, Dassault and Thales have joined forces with Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. (HAL) to provide a similar upgrade for the Indian air force’s Mirage fleet. India received 95 first-generation Mirage 2000 fighters in varying configurations and has found the type a very useful asset over the years.

Landmark Aviation has expanded its agreement with Air Alliance of Germany to offer aircraft maintenance, repair, modification and completion to owners and operators of turbofan- and turboprop-powered aircraft in Europe.

Snecma Services will provide Italian low-cost airline Wind Jet with maintenance for its CFM56 engines under an exclusive time and material contract signed before the show. The deal provides for maintenance, repair and overhaul for engines powering Wind Jets’s Airbus A320 fleet.
