The True Blue Power division of Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics unveiled a new 250-watt inverter at the Aircraft Electronics Association show. Mid-Continent is also celebrating its 50th anniversary this year as well as the recent FAA and EASA certification of the True Blue Power division’s new TB17 lithium-ion main-ship battery.
Avionic Instruments is at Booth No. 3417 with two of its newer electrical power generation, conversion and conditioning products. Its 2-KVA static inverter is designed and qualified with current component technology and innovative thermal/mechanical techniques. The design provides overall device isolation, excellent overload and non-linear load handling capability.
Borescopes R Us Sees Strong Start
The Brazilian Departamento de Aviacao Civil (DAC) recently awarded Duncan Aviation’s Battle Creek, Mich. facility repair station certification. The certificate allows the company to work on aircraft registered in Brazil. Duncan Aviation Battle Creek also has approvals from Europe’s JAA and Venezuela. Duncan Aviation’s Lincoln, Neb., facility has approvals from Brazil, Bermuda, Venezuela, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, China and the JAA.
