FlyRight has achieved qualification for its level-C King Air 200 flight simulator in the U.S., Canada, Brazil and China. FlyRight's FAA Part 142-approved training facility offers initial and recurrent training for King Air 90s, 200s and 300/350s. The training device is also configurable for Beech 1900 instruction.
Pilatus Aircraft last month announced that the warranty period for all Honeywell avionics installed in new Pilatus PC-12s has been extended from two to three years. The new warranty benefit is applicable starting with PC-12 S/N 482 and covers standard Honeywell equipment, including the EFIS 40 displays; KFC 325 autopilot; KLN 90B GPS; RDR 2000 weather radar; and KC 165A navcom.
The NTSB in its final report released this morning said the crew of a Hendrick Motorsports King Air 200 lost situational awareness and overflew Martinsville/Blue Ridge Airport, Va., before crashing on Oct. 24, 2004. IMC prevailed and the turboprop twin had been cleared for the Localizer Runway 30 approach.
