Nextant Aerospace, producer of the remanufactured 400XTi (based on the Hawker 400A/XP) and G90XT (based on the Beechcraft King Air C90), announced today that Aerie Aviação will be its exclusive sales agent for Brazil. The company will work alongside Nextant’s existing Central and South American representative, GFM Aviation. The region offers considerable opportunities for Nextant, as it already has a large population of ageing Hawker 400s and King Air C90s.
Following a successful showing at the Latin American Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (LABACE) in August, Líder Aviação is hosting an exhibit at the NBAA show (Booth No. N536) and expanding its North American presence.
Líder is one of the largest aviation services providers in Brazil and during LABACE sold two Beechcraft Bonanza G36s for $760,000 each. Also at the show, Líder delivered the first Bonanza G36 to go into service in Brazil with the new modular interior.

Brazilian aviation services provider Lìder Aviação is the new “exclusive representative” in Brazil for Bombardier Aerospace. Lìder, based in Belo Horizonte, will be responsible for sales of the Canadian OEM’s Globals, Challengers and Learjets. The two companies have a long history together. Lìder was the company that introduced the Learjet in Brazil in 1968. It is also the Brazilian representative of U.S.-based Beechcraft for the company’s turboprop and piston aircraft.
Since it exited a 10-month restructuring process and Chapter 11 protection in February, the rebranded Beechcraft (formerly Hawker Beechcraft) has performed well and is even looking at possible new models to bolster its turboprop line-up.
With an eye on Brazil as “a key market for the entire Hawker Beechcraft line,” the Wichita, Kan.-based aircraft manufacturer is a major presence at LABACE this year, bringing six of its most popular aircraft.
Hawker Beechcraft is marking its 80th anniversary this year as it enjoys strong growth in China, and Asian markets in general. As part of its celebrations the U.S. company has brought three of its key airplanes to the ABACE show: the super-midsize Hawker 4000; the midsize Hawker 900XP; and the Beechcraft King Air C90GTx twin turboprop.
Aviation Fabricators has received an STC approval for its arm-ledge/table design for the Hawker Beechcraft King Air C90, E90, F90 and 200.
The package is designed to combine style with functionality and update the aircraft to the same look and feel as new King Air models. It also allows more usable room on the seat-service and features built-in cup holders to replace the old “flip-out” variants.
