World Fuel Services announced several additions to its Air Elite FBO network. They are Business Aviation Centre Cologne at Germany’s Cologne/Bonn Airport; St. Thomas Jet Center at Cyril E. King Airport in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; and Lehigh Valley Aviation Services at Lehigh Valley International Airport in Allentown, Pa. Air Elite, which was established from most of the former Avitat group, comprises FBOs that are part of the World Fuel Services global network.
The Air Elite FBO network has added two new facilities: St. Thomas Jet Center and Lehigh Valley Aviation Services. Air Elite is comprised of FBOs that are part of the World Fuel Services global network. These FBOs retain their individual ownership, but agree to a uniform set of high-quality standards for service, amenities, facilities, fuel and products. St. Thomas Jet Center is located at Cyril E. King Airport in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands and Lehigh Valley Aviation Services is at the Lehigh Valley International Airport in Allentown, Pa.
Lehigh Valley Aviation Services, based at Lehigh Valley International Airport in Allentown, Pa., has renewed its branding agreement with Avfuel. On October 11 the House small business subcommittee on regulatory reform and oversight considered the financial hit to small aviation business from restrictions on the National Airspace System. The hearing was intended to quantify dollar needs and consider expansion of recipients for aid under H.R.3007, introduced on October 3 by Rep. Bill Shuster (R-Pa.) with 25 cosponsors.
