Lufthansa Technik’s VIP and Executive Jet Solutions Division is now offering what it claims is a new standard in sleep comfort in the form of its Flexidreamer mattress for executive aircraft. The claim is based on Lufthansa Technik proprietary and patented development and “not only sets new standards in comfort but also satisfies all aviation authority requirements.”

JetBed (Booth No. 1135) is expanding its line of inflatable aircraft beds. CEO Gary Bosstick told AIN that the company will soon launch products for Embraer executive jets and Pilatus PC-12 turboprops.

Aircraft interiors specialist EADS Sogerma has some sweet sleep for sale. The Airbus subsidiary formally introduced its “Ultimate Sleeper” premium first- class bed at the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg in May, promoting it as having “the comfort of a real bed.”

JetBed (Booth No. 5420) has reached an agreement with Cessna Aircraft for the Wichita-based OEM to offer the portable bed as optional original equipment of all of Cessna’s Citation line except the Mustang. The JetBed, starting at $3,995, is designed to fit between two upright, facing seats in club configuration. It weighs about 15 pounds and inflates quickly with a rechargeable cordless pump.
