Online charter portal Avinode (Stand 749) is launching its Cloud-based SchedAero software for European implementation. “Over the past six months we have completely rebuilt SchedAero to meet the needs of the European market,” said Niklas Berg, managing director of SchedAero, which allows air charter providers to integrate quoting, logistics management, aircraft and crew scheduling, fleet and crew tracking, invoicing and more across remote locations. Files can be simultaneously accessed and processed.
San Diego-based Avexus (Booth No. 1600), a software development company specializing in MRO management solutions, is currently beta testing release 7i3 of its Impresa MRO process management software, which runs on Hewlett-Packard and Sun Unix operating systems, on Linux.
Wichita-based Spirent Systems last month announced that the FAA awarded its latest aircraft file server–a PC running the Windows NT operating system–an STC and parts manufacturing approval. Developed primarily for use by major and regional airlines, the computer server is capable of hosting a variety of airline-specific software applications, the company said.
