Global aviation support and aftermarket services provider BBA Aviation signed a seven-year lease extension that also expands its downtown Orlando, Fla. corporate headquarters offices to accommodate expected growth. Signature Flight Support and Aircraft Service Group International (ASIG), along with parent company BBA Aviation, collectively have more than 1,000 employees in Florida, with almost 200 based in downtown Orlando.

NBAA has selected Orlando, Fla., as the new venue for its 58th Annual Meeting & Convention in November. The convention will take place from Wednesday, November 9 through Friday, November 11, a week earlier than originally planned. The announcement comes after NBAA was forced to move the event from New Orleans because of the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina.
