Ron Joyce

Ron Joyce, cofounder of coffee chain Tim Hortons, was one of eight passengers on board a three-and-a-half-week-old Bombardier Global 5000 (registration C-GXPR) that crashed while landing Sunday afternoon on the private airstrip of a resort community on the Northumberland Strait in Nova Scotia, Canada. Neither the passengers nor the two crewmembers were injured when Joyce’s large-cabin jet landed short in a patch of gravel.
