Emteq (Booth C7012), of New Berlin, Wis., is introducing the eConnect Plus Program at this year’s NBAA show. The program provides equipment discounts and enhanced customer service incentives for eConnect aircraft connectivity installations on new platforms.
Aviation Modification Leaders (AML) has completed the first installation of its high-speed AML 200 aircraft cabin router in a Piaggio P-180 turboprop. With the new router, up to 10 passengers can have broadband Internet access and Wi-Fi connectivity on any personal electronic device, according to AML.
No matter how advanced it might seem, there is little in cabin technology that can’t be improved. Proof can be found at the Satcom1 exhibit (Booth No. 1891) where Aviation Modifications Leader (AML) is showing its portable OOM-100 and OOM-200 routers, which promise to increase Internet speeds by 200 to 300 percent.
EMS Satcom last month unveiled the CNX-300 mobile access router as the newest member of its family of CNX airborne networking devices. Designed specifically to address the needs of military and government customers, the router combines Ethernet, Wi-Fi, network hub and terminal adapter with the Cisco 3200 Series router.
