On October 30, Million Air Lafayette opened its new FBO. The facility features an atrium-style lobby with 10,000 sq feet of lobby and office space and leather furniture and flat-screen televisions, large conference room, pilots’ lounge, complimentary beverage bar with Starbucks coffee and freshly baked cookies, flight planning/weather room, luxury crew vehicles, concierge services and high-speed wireless Internet.
Mercury Air Centers in conjunction with GE Capital Financial and Aviation Logistics (Avlog) introduced last month a MasterCard purchasing program specifically for business aviation operators. The Atlanta-based FBO chain also announced affiliations with Starbucks Coffee and UltraJet air charter.
North Bend Municipal Airport is about one-third of the way up the coast of Oregon, directly on scenic Coos Bay. For those who have a reason to visit, there’s a well equipped FBO. Ocean Air Aviation is diverse, with an air ambulance division, a charter department, line service, aircraft maintenance, catering and on-site Enterprise and Hertz rental cars.
