Hawker Pacific has “embarked on a major expansion of services” with the opening of a product support service center at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang, Malaysia. “We have significant plans for Malaysia in 2010,” said John Riggir, senior v-p of Hawker Pacific’s Asia group. The facility is an authorized Hawker service center and is pursuing approval to be a Dassault Falcon line service center to cover the Falcon 2000, 2000EX EASy and 7X.

ExecuJet Aviation and Hawker Pacific today officially opened their new joint-venture Skypark FBO at Kuala Lumpur Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Malaysia. The development is part of the wider $91 billion Skypark Subang project to transform the former Subang International Airport–Kuala Lumpur’s main airport until the opening of Kuala Lumpur International Airport in 1998–into a business aviation gateway.

At face value, there has never been a better time to be in the international FBO business. With North America a mature marketplace, the lion’s share of growth in business aircraft fleets and flying activity is found in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
