Duncan Aviation’s Lincoln, Neb. facility has entered into an agreement with Raytheon Aircraft to be the exclusive agent for Raytheon Aircraft parts, inventory and distribution (Rapid) to repair, overhaul, test and provide inventory logistics in support of the Rapid rotables program for Hawker landing gear. The agreement covers the Hawker 1A through 700, 800, 800XP and 1000.
Raytheon Aircraft has awarded Montreal’s Innotech Aviation Gold Bar status for service center excellence for Hawkers and King Airs. The award recognizes superior achievement in four major areas of product support: spares availability, tools and tooling, training and library currency. Innotech achieved an overall rating of 95 percent
in each area.

Hydrogenics, a Toronto design and manufacturing firm, has won a contract to supply 65-kilowatt hydrogen fuel cells for aircraft tow tractors. The contract is from the U.S. Department of Defense Fuel Cell Test and Evaluation Center, operated by Concurrent Technologies (CTC). The Hydrogenics fuel cell module will be mated to a CTC aircraft tug to be used in demonstrations at air force bases and civilian airports in conjunction with the U.S.
Erickson Air-Crane is giving its star heavy lifter, the S-64 Aircrane, a makeover. The company is gradually retrofitting the 19 aircraft in its fleet with new-generation cockpit displays, attitude/heading reference systems (AHRS) and three-axis autopilots.

At the NBAA Convention last month, EMS Technologies announced that it will begin delivering its new four-channel HSD-400 satcom data terminal early next year.
