Timco Aerosystems has been awarded organization delegation authorization (ODA) from the FAA’s Atlanta Aircraft Certification Office. According to the company, it is the first major aircraft maintenance and modification provider to be issued a supplemental type certificate (STC) and parts manufacturing approval (PMA) ODA.

Ronald Zilberbrand resigned from Chicago-based JSSI International, the company that he co-founded. He was president of the company and executive v-p of 154 West Holdings, a holding company with direct ownership of JSSI. He has resigned to pursue other interests. JSSI CEO Rick Haskins is assuming the role of JSSI International president until a successor is named.

TIMCO Aviation Services has been named a member of the first Airbus maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) network. The Greensboro, N.C. MRO is the only U.S.-owned and -operated company in the network and joins three others located in Macon, Ga.; Lake City, Fla.; and Goodyear, Ariz.

August was a bad month for Triad International Maintenance (Timco) of Greensboro, N.C. The FAR 145 repair station learned on August 9 that one of ts former aircraft mechanics, Hugo Obregon, was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Greensboro to two years probation and assessed $100 for making false statements to the FAA on an application for an A&P certificate. Obregon falsely represented he met the training and experience requirements.
