Zenith Aviation, a distributor of Dornier 328 parts and spares, is seeking multiple aircraft parts and spares consignment opportunities. The company recently invested more than $3 million in additional climate-controlled warehouse space and an automated inventory storage and retrieval system. The 44,000-sq-ft warehouse can hold up to 500,000 individual line items. According to the company, the consignor retains title to the parts until they leave the Zenith warehouse.

Sikorsky Aerospace Services (SAS), the aftermarket business of Sikorsky Aircraft, now has parts warehouse in Brazil to support commercial operators of the S-76 and S-92 in that country. Powerpack, Sikorsky’s long-standing Brazilian representative, will manage inventory operations through the country’s special customs system known as Depósito Especial.

Construction is nearing completion on A J Walter Aviation’s 60-acre headquarters and logistics campus near London Gatwick Airport. The site will include a headquarters office and storage facilities for the company’s inventory of Airbus and Boeing components and consumables.

Bombardier Aerospace (Booth No. 1300) is gradually building parts inventory levels at its new super-warehouse near Germany’s Frankfurt Airport and is already beating its own performance targets at the facility, which opened last December. By the end of next month, the airframer expects to have some 25,000 individual parts on the shelves, a total that could grow to 40,000.

Ship it AOG, a business aircraft parts distributor, has relocated to a larger facility at Dallas Addison Airport. A new 7,000-sq-ft space is nearly five times the size of the previous headquarters.

Bombardier is looking to boost its parts distribution performance with the opening of two new “super warehouses.” A new facility opened at Chicago O’Hare International Airport and another new parts depot at Germany’s Frankfurt International Airport will be fully operational in November. The Frankfurt depot will be bonded, meaning that parts will clear customs as soon as they arrive and will be available for immediate distribution.
