Bombardier Aerospace has earmarked $30 million to support its growing fleet of business and commercial aircraft in the Asia-Pacific region. According to James Hoblyn, president of customer services and specialized and amphibious aircraft, the investment is the first phase of an aggressive plan to build a comprehensive service and support network for the Asia-Pacific region.

Bombardier Aerospace has opened its third commercial aircraft service center in the U.S. The facility, located in Macon, Ga., and operated by Bombardier Customer Services, joins two pre-existing Bombardier-owned commercial aircraft service centers located in Bridgeport, W.Va., and Tucson, Ariz. The facility will perform heavy maintenance on the Bombardier CRJ100/200/700/900.

With about 40 business and commercial aircraft based in India, Bombardier has chosen Mumbai for its fifth regional support office [RSO],” said James Hoblyn, president customer services and specialized and amphibious aircraft Bombardier Aerospace.
Bombardier Aerospace plans to open a new regional-support office (RSO) in Mumbai, India, during this fiscal year’s second quarter, the Canadian manufacturer announced today. Bombardier’s second fiscal quarter runs from May 1 to July 31.
