Jeppesen and Satcom Direct announced Monday a teaming relationship that allows each company to sell a bundled solution to their customers that combines flight planning services and cockpit communications.
Air Routing is here at the NBAA Convention announcing it will integrate its Datalink, Trip Quote, Fuel Stop Analyzer, GPS RAIM Prediction, Runway Analysis and Domestic Flight Watch under a single portal–Flight Planner. The company, long known for international flight planning, also announced a new goal of becoming a flight-planning vendor of choice for domestic operators.

While the 696 displays own-ship position on moving maps and SafeTaxi airport diagrams, potential buyers should know that it does not do so on approach charts.
Flight planning and trip-handling company Air Routing has released a fuel stop analyzer as part of its new online Trip Quotes service. Customers can use Trip Quotes to “determine Air Routing arrangement fees, international third-party charges and estimated fuel costs before planning a trip,” according to the company. With the fuel stop analyzer, pilots and dispatchers can evaluate tech stops along a great-circle route and compare fuel prices.
