Russia’s VSMPO-AVISMA Corp., specialist manufacturer of products made of titanium and aluminum alloys, steel and nickel, and Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Co. (SAMC), have signed a long-term purchase contract for titanium forging products for the Comac C919 aircraft program.
XOJet today announced the XOJet Platinum Partner Network, which enables select members of its broker network to extend their relationship with the charter provider. While all XOJet broker partners can resell the operator’s on-demand and fixed-price charter services on a per-trip basis, platinum partners will now also be able to resell Preferred Access, which offers lower prices for flexible fliers; Coast2Coast, a discounted program for coast-to-coast travel; and XOJet Elite Access, a guaranteed access program that mimics those found at fractional providers.
A seven-month investigation by the U.S. Air Force Scientific Advisory Board into unexplained hypoxia, or oxygen deprivation, incidents experienced by F-22 pilots has not determined the root cause of the problem, the service said March 29.
