Textron has promoted Scott Donnelly to president, in addition to his COO role. Richard Yates, the company’s senior v-p and controller, has been named acting CFO after the recent departure of executive v-p and CFO Ted French.

Alberto Galassi has been appointed CEO of Piaggio Aero Industries. A board member since 2000, he replaces José di Mase, who will remain a member of both the company’s board of directors and executive committee. Piero Ferrari was also named Piaggio’s new chairman.

Sikorsky Helicopter has made some changes in its senior management. Stephen Estill, formerly v-p and chief marketing officer, was named to the newly created position of v-p of strategic partnerships. He is succeeded by Carey Bond, who served as v-p of corporate strategy and strategic programs since 2005. Robert Kokorda was promoted from v-p of production operations to v-p of corporate strategy and synergy.
Lynnwood, Wash.-based Crane Aerospace & Electronics has announced the promotion of Rick Jones from v-p of sensing and utility systems for the aerospace group to senior v-p of solutions. Nigel Duncan, formerly owner and principal of a marketing and investment analysis firm, has joined the company’s aerospace group as v-p for sales and marketing.

Mark Neely, previously a regional v-p of sales with Embraer, has been chosen ATR North America’s new v-p of sales.

Avcard/World Fuel Services has named John Bozin v-p of finance. He was formerly v-p of finance and compliance for a large Denver-based law firm.

Aviation parts distributor Ship-it-AOG has promoted Raymond Goyco from v-p of sales and marketing to COO.

Toronto-based charter provider Partner Jet has promoted Ted Tofflemire from operations manager to CEO. He will replace Lee Heitman, who will assume the role of chairman of the board. Company board member R. Bruce Reilly has been named CFO.

Israel Aerospace Industries has promoted Zvi Genisher from business jet programs g-m in the engineering and development group to g-m of the programs division of the company’s Bedek aviation group. IAI president and CEO Itzhak Nissan received the Israel Management Center’s “Manager of the Year” award, honoring exemplary leaders of companies in the high-technology industry earning at least $50 million.

Flight support and aftermarket services and systems provider BBA Aviation has promoted Gary Boekenkamp to v-p of marketing, acquisitions and strategic business development for its legacy products group. He was previously v-p of strategy and business development for BBA’s aviation flight support group.

Jean Kayanakis has been promoted from director of Eastern Hemisphere spares at Dassault Falcon to v-p for Falcon worldwide spares. He replaces Frank Youngkin, who was named v-p for Western Hemisphere customer service last year.

Boston-based private jet provider Magellan Jets has named Joshua Hebert CEO. He had been senior v-p with The recently founded company also chose Anthony Tivnan as president.

FlightAware has hired Matt Davis, previously g-m of Wilson Air Center at William P. Hobby Airport in Houston, as its new v-p of aviation marketing.

Dubai-based Palm Aviation has appointed Talia Smith as director of operations in the U.S. She will lead the company’s program to expand its American client base.

After more than 40 years with Jet Aviation, most recently managing key customers, Elie Zelouf has announced his retirement. He will continue to serve Jet Aviation in Basel in an advisory role. The company also restructured its Hong Kong aircraft management and charter operation. Barry Collier was appointed managing director for flight operations and crew, while Iris Riesen was named managing director of ground operations, sales, client relationships and administration. Jet Professionals, the company’s staffing subsidiary, has selected Hani Farag as its new managing director for international markets.

Gerard Kelly has joined Million Air Dallas as director of charter sales. Previously, he served as Executive Jet Management’s charter services manager.

Aviation services and production support specialist Sabreliner has promoted Tracy Ogle from rotary-wing program manager to director of helicopter programs.
Cabin audio system manufacturer Alto Aviation has added John Rahilly, most recently v-p of sales and marketing for Dassault Falcon’s North American service centers, as a product specialist. The Leominster, Mass.-based company also named Joseph Smith its new manufacturing manager.

European air-taxi provider Blink has made three managerial appointments. Martin Bird was named the company’s quality manager, while Stephen Pickering, former operations manager for British Airways, was selected as ground operations manager. Julia Tsiros joined the firm as flight services manager from Skyjet International, where she was responsible for customer service.

Tulsa, Okla.-based Nordam Group has announced several changes in its transparency division. Ron Allgood has been hired as manager, supply chain; Carlos Flores has been named market manager; Brian Schmalz has been hired as director of business development and strategic planning; and Eric Clower recently accepted the position of director of operations.

Gore Design Completions, based in San Antonio, has promoted John Kirby from manager of quality to director of quality.

UK-based MAC Aircraft Interior Specialists has appointed Clive Evans as general manager.

Portsmouth, N.H.-based Alpha Flying has appointed H.L. “Skip” Hockman sales specialist for its PlaneSense fractional ownership program. He has held a number of key business aviation sales and management positions, including director of marketing for NetJets.

Maintenance tracking provider Camp Systems has hired Elijah Stepp, Jr. as a field service representative. He was formerly a regional sales manager with West Star Aviation.

Travel medical solutions provider MedAire has named Robb Leigh, M.D., chief medical officer for global response services, while Paulo Alves, M.D., formerly the company’s corporate medical director, was promoted to v-p for aviation and maritime health.
