CAE is launching training services for business aircraft pilots and mechanics in Asia. From later this year and extending into 2013, the North American company will introduce programs covering the following seven aircraft: Bombardier’s Global 5000, Global Express and Global XRS; the Gulfstream G450 and G550; Dassault’s Falcon 7X; and the Sikorsky S-76C++ helicopter.

Still to be determined is where in Asia CAE (Stand C310) will install training centers to cover the new programs. A company spokesman said that further details on the plans will be published at a future date. It already has training facilities in the U.S., Europe and the Middle East.

CAE’s existing training customers in Asia include business aircraft operators such as Beijing White Bear Business Aviation Corp., Shanghai Deer Jet and India’s GMR Aviation.

“This is CAE’s first business aviation and civil helicopter training deployment in Asia, and reaffirms our commitment to deliver world-class training and services convenient to where our customers operate,” said Jeff Roberts, CAE group president for civil simulation products. “This new capability will help support growth in Asia by providing the highest-quality trained personnel using CAE’s market-leading simulation technology and instructional best practices.”
