Advanced Aircrew Academy (Booth No. C8529) announced new course offerings here at NBAA 2013. Advanced will offer a new training module on Automatic Dependent Surveillance–Broadcast (ADS-B) that is fully compliant with FAA guidance including AC 90-114.
The training organization is also expanding its online modules for Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training for pilots, flight attendants and mechanics. The OSHA training is designed to satisfy FAA rulemaking with the application of OSHA standards related to hazard communications, blood-borne pathogens and noise protection.
Flight departments are required to train employees to identify and protect from hazardous workplace chemicals by December 1 this year.
Advanced Aircrew Academy recently announced the appointment of Dr. Dan Boedigheimer as vice president of operations. He holds an ATP pilot certificate and a Ph.D. in Aerospace Science from Northcentral University.
