Avionics manufacturer Rockwell Collins (Booth H337) is offering its Future Airspace Navigation System (FANS) 1/A upgrade for customers operating Bombardier Challenger 604 and Falcon 50EX, 2000 and 2000EX combined with a free annual subscription to its premium suite of ArincDirect flight support mobile applications and services. The FANS 1/A upgrade consists of new avionics hardware and associated Service Bulletin updates to support Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Contract (ADS-C) and controller-pilot data link communications.

“Our goal is to make flight operations as predictable and efficient as possible for flight departments, no matter where they are located in the world, and this combined offering of FANS 1/A with our ArincDirect apps and flight support services is the latest example,” said Dave Poltorak, vice president for aviation and network services at the U.S.-based company.
