FIFA World Cup Fans Advised To Plan Travel Early
Slots for bizjets into Doha during the FIFA World Cup cost $5,000, while penalties for failing to adhere to strict turnaround times will be up to $25,000.
Like other business aviation trip planners, Universal Weather and Aviation is advising that soccer fans traveling to Doha for the FIFA World Cup plan early. Slots into Qatar for the tournaments, November 20 to December 18, cost $5,000, with even steeper fines for missing arrival times by more than 35 minutes and exceeding 45 minutes on the ground.
