Epic CEO Doug King updated the status of the E1000 program yesterday (Tuesday) at AirVenture. King said a minor wing redesign will likely delay certification until the spring of 2017 for the new $2.95 million turboprop single, after which the company plans an initial production rate of one per month that will gradually increase.
